Ever notice that even with new windshield wiper blades, your Corrado's wipers still kinda suck? This fix helps quite a bit, and does not require bending your wiper arms, which looks funny to me anyway.
First remove the wiper arms. Easy! Pop off the caps where the wiper arms attach, remove the 13 mm nuts and lift off the arms. They might need a little help coming off, so lift the blade off the windshield to relieve some of the pressure against the bolt if needed.
Next, with the wiper arms off the car, bend them back all the way. You will see this:
Grind those down at least half way. You can see where the bumps stop the wiper arm from pressing against the windshield any harder. I used a small die grinder on a Dremel. This will allow the wiper arm to move closer to the windshield.
Re-attach the arms and go.
There are also aftermarket wiper arms that will work very well, but some of them look really funky. This way you can keep your Corrado stock looking, while improving the windshield wiper action.
